Palestinian advocate in Malawi has asked Human Rights activists not to take sides in their core.
Sheikh Muslim Abbas Vinjenje has made the sentiments as the world commemorates 48th United Nations International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian people which falls on 29th November.
Vinjenje who is also Majilis Ulama Council of Malawi Secretary General says the war in Gaza is human rights violation which needs coordinated efforts aimed at protecting the vulnerable.
According to the sheikh there is knowledge and information gap which need to be addressed as some still think the war in Palestine is a religious one.
Vinjenje has said that Malawi being a peace loving nation it is high time it stands in solidarity with Palestine people who also deserve peace and protection.
