NSO, MACRA in ICT survey

National Statistics Office NSO in collaboration with Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority MACRA will conduct a third survey on access and use of ICT service in April this year.

This has been disclosed dring a one day workshop among NSO, MACRA and stakeholders in Lilongwe.

In her speech commissioner of NSO Lizzie Chikoti said the survey will be held in all districts and the results will be released by September this year.

Chikoti said a similar survey on access and use of ICT services were in held in 2014 and 2019.

Speaking on behalf of the board of MACRA Dr Henry Saindi said the survey is in line with pillars of Malawi 2063 agenda.
