NOCMA assurance on fuel security

National Oil Company of Malawi Limited (NOCMA) has assured Malawians that there is security of fuel supply in the country.

In a statement Management of NOCMA says the company continues to import petroleum products despite obstacles in the global oil industry caused by a number of factors.

NOCMA cites the increase in crude oil prices, sanctions imposed on Russia and the scramble for petroleum products in the Arab gulf.

Meanwhile the national oil company says intermittent stock-out of diesel being experienced in a few service stations should not be a cause for panic
