Muslim Teachers Association asked to contribute to Malawi development

Muslim Teachers Association (MUTA) has been asked to contribute to social economic status of Malawi

Secretary General for QMAM Osman Karim who was guest of honor at MUTA’s Annual general Meeting urged the teachers to formulate a policy that will ensure Muslim child goes further with education.

Karim said Muslim teachers should help learners to achieve their goals

He encouraged Muslims to participate in different programs being implemented in the country.

In his remarks Member of Parliament for Machinga north east Ajilu Kalitendere appreciated the initiative which MUTA embraced, saying everyone should be taken on board for the country to prosper

Meanwhile, Chairperson for MUTA who is also head teacher for Cape Maclear community day secondary school Danken Njuweni said the organization seeks to create self-reliant Muslim teachers and promote teaching profession ethics while abiding by Islamic doctrine.

This year’s annual general meeting was held under the theme MUTA’s responsibilities in enhancing moral ethics and values to the existing generation
