Mulanje-Thyolo land grabbing case continues

Trial of the Mulanje Thyolo land grabbing case is underway at Blantyre High court.

Leader of People’s Land organisation which tried to grab the land Vincent Wandale and Tendai Msikita are answering three charges.

“We want to retake the land of their ancestors,” said Wandale.

They were arrested together with others for attempting to grab the land which belongs to Conforxi tea estate.

However, others were acquitted after pleading guilty and were imposed a suspended sentence.
