Ministry of Higher Education engages NCHE on quality Education

Minister of higher education has called on National Council for Higher Education NCHE to ensure high quality education in Universities and Colleges

In her first familiarization tour of her duties, Dr. Jessie Kabwila visited NCHE headquarters where she said her Ministry values the council as an important arm in promotion of quality and efficiency in higher education sub-sector.

Kabwira said was impressed with the commitment shown by the council council and staff which has necessitated the institution to attain milestones.

Speaking earlier, NCHE Board Chair, Professor Eston Sambo appreciated the support which the institution has been receiving from Ministry of Education to accomplish their missions.

Among the milestones attained, he cited digitalization of their system which is now at 100 percent leading to efficiency and harmonization of public university selection which this year included Domasi and Nalikule College of Education.

He said NCHE remains committed to ensuring a resilient and self-sustaining Higher Education system.
