MASYAP urges Muslim Girls to desist from risky behaviors

Muslim Sisters Youth and AIDS Program (MASYAP) has urged Muslim girls in the country to desist from risky behaviors.

MASYAP Youth Coordinator, Fatimah Hassan, has made the appeal during a 4 days sister’s camp currently underway at Mai Halima Girls Secondary School in Mulanje.

Hassan said the camp has been organized to empower, educate and equip the girls with necessary information that can help them make informed decisions.

She said since MASYAP started organizing such activities there is a lot of improvement in terms of behaviors of the Muslim girls.

According to Hassan the 2024 camp has attracted 150 girls surpassing the initial target of 100.
