“As a college, we are really happy, we are happy for the staff members, we are happy for the students for working hard and we will make sure we continue to preform well in the examinations”, he said.
Chikopa said expressed optimism that the college will also continue to perform well when they start offering Diploma programmes which is still in the pipeline.
“We expect to continue performing well even when we start the diploma programme because in certificate, the students write seven subjects during MANEB exams while in diploma, the students will be specialising in one major subject, another minor subject and the professional teaching foundation, so we expect the students will be able to perform even better because the number of subjects will be reduced”. Added Chikopa.
When asked to confirm the exact date of commencement, he highlighted that currently the college is waiting for the government to finalise the process, to allow them start offering the Diploma programmes.
