MAM Announces Students’ Return To Balaka Islamic Secondary School
Muslim Association of Malawi MAM has announced that all students at Balaka Islamic Secondary School should go back to school when first term commences on 11th September.
The announcement has come following meetings that MAM and Mai Aisha Trust held where they agreed that all students must go back reversing earlier decision by Mai Aisha Trust that the school will open with new students only.
Speaking to radio Islam a day after the meeting, MAM publicity secretary Sheikh Dinala Chabulika said the new decision applies to all workers whose contracts were previously terminated at Balaka Islamic secondary school.
On this note, sheikh Chabulika has commended Mai Asha Trust for maintaining the status quo after MAM came to a round table discussion to continue administering the school.
He then appealed to all Islamic school management to instill and maintain discipline in students for the schools to do well.
