Malawi will benefit from BRICS summit

President Professor Peter Mutharika has assured Malawians that he will try his best so that BRICS summit in South Africa is beneficial to Malawi.

Mutharika made the assurance at Kamuzu international airport before departing Malawi to South Africa to attend the 10th BRICS summit.

“During BRICS summit I will talk about various affecting Malawi,” Mutharika said.

BRICS consists of five countries namely Brazil, Russia, China, India and South Africa.

Presidents of some African countries including Malawi, Mozambique, zambia, Tunisia and Uganda have been invited to attend the summit.
