Navitcha, says although digital technology has brought many benefits for learning, teaching and business it has also brought harm to women, girls and children.
“Those living in rural areas are at more risk due to lack of adequate knowledge on how to properly manage digital platforms,” Navitcha
In her remarks, UN women deputy representative, Fatima Muhammad requested government to strengthen legal framework, to criminalize and prohibit all forms of Gender Based Violence.
She says they will focus on increasing digital literacy among girls, women and children.
