Reserve Bank of Malawi RBM has announced the introduction of 5000 kwacha

Governor of RBM Dr Wilson Banda has made the announcement during a press briefing in Lilongwe

Dr Banda says the bank has also upgraded the 2000 kwacha and the 5000 kwacha resembles the colour of the 2000 kwacha

He says the production of the 5000 kwacha has cost Malawi 1.4 billion kwacha
