Malawi Electoral Commission to start establishing centers for 2025 polls

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) says will start establishing and meeting stakeholders and re-aligning registration, polling and constituency tally centers from this February through March ahead of 2025 polls.

According to MEC public relations manager, Sangwani Mwafulirwa this comes following the adoption of constituency boundary redemarcation report by Parliament in November last year.

Mwafulirwa says with the new law in place, results tallying will be done at constituency level during the forthcoming elections.

There will be 228 constituencies up for contestant in the 2025 tripartite elections.
