LEAD Says Drone Technology Can Help In Zomba City Planning

Leadership for Environment and Development LEAD has said drone technology can help in Zomba city planning.

Professor Sosten Chiotha said this during the drone technology workshop in Zomba city organized by Africity project.

Chiotha said the drone technology is also good in data collection.

In his remarks Zomba district agriculture officer Isaac Allie thanked the organisers for the training.

Allie said the agriculture office faces a problem of data collection therefore the drone technology can be useful in getting real data on red locusts and measuring the harvests.

Africity project started in 2017 and is being implemented in Malawi, Tanzania and South Africa.
