King Muhammad the Sixth Foundation releases candidates in International Quran Competition of Africa
King Muhammad the Sixth Foundation has released names of candidates to contest in this year’s International Quran Competition of Africa in Morocco.
This follows the national Quran competition which was held at Kameza in Blantyre last Sunday.
Making the announcement, Secretary General for King Muhammad the Sixth Foundation, Sheikh Ali Kennedy, said there was a stiff competition that the panel of judges found it hard to come up with the winner.
Sheikh Kennedy said six candidates competed in 30 juzu and nine students contested in 5 juzu hence one candidate in each category has made into the finals in Morocco.
“I am confident that the winners will make Malawi proud because the competition was not only free and fair but also the panel of judges carried out their duties professionally,” Sheikh Kennedy
