Islamic Centres Administration applauded for providing Quality Education to Girls in Malawi
Islamic Centres Administration (ICA) has been applauded for providing quality education to a girl child in the country.
The remarks were made when delegates from Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust UK (KORT) cheered students at Mulanje Girls Islamic Primary and Mai Halima Girls Secondary schools in Mulanje district.
Speaking to the media after the visit, founder of the organization, Muhammad Akhtar, expressed his gratitude to management of the two schools for the services it is rendering to those academic institutions.
Akhtar said his organization will corroborate with ICA to see how best they can work together in ensuring that the girl child is learning in a very conducive environment.
Among others the team also distributed gifts of assorted items to all students and members of staff from both schools.
Commenting on the visit, Head teacher of Mai Halima Girls Secondary School, Adil Livanga, said the guests have motivated the students to work extra hard in classes.
On performance, Livanga said is pleased to note that the school has regained the trust that every parent and guardian is now willing to send the girl child to the school.
Islamic Centres Administration (ICA) is currently running three centres of Mulanje Girls Islamic Primary, Mai Halima Girls Secondary School and Mangochi Islamic Centre.
