Internal auditors urged to fight corruption
Internal auditors in the country have been urged to help in the fight against corruption
The remarks have been made by Reserve Bank of Malawi deputy governor of operations William Matambo at the 25th Silver Jubilee of Institute of Auditors and Governance Forum underway in Mangochi
According to Matambo the members should be agents of change and ready to face criticism
Matambo said the internal auditors should ask questions that will bring about the much needed transformation and align their programs with 2063 agenda
He says the institute has helped in fostering effective services to both publicity and private institutions.
In his remarks Institute of Internal Auditors Malawi President Alick Mwale says over the years the auditors have helped in the country economic growth
