IHAM partners with Govt
Islamic Health Association of Malawi (IHAM) and Ministry of Health have today signed a memorandum of understanding which will help to develop the health sector in the Country.
Speaking during the Signing Ceremony, which took place in Lilongwe, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Dr Charles Mwansambo, said it is a pleasure that IHAM is committed to provide good health to Malawians in the country.
“Government is ready to work with IHAM in the Health sector,” He said.
In his remarks, Chairperson of IHAM, Faisal Kassam, said he is pleased with the agreement which will help provide Malawians with good health Facilities.
He has meanwhile pledged IHAM’S commitment to grow the health sector.
Currently, IHAM has 21 Health Facilities and 12 Mobile Clinics in the Sourthern and Central region and are expected to expand to the Northern Region.
