Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) has said is not shaken by threats they are receiving.
Speaking during a press briefing in Lilongwe HRDC chairperson Timothy Mtambo said are aware of plans to kill them because they condemn corruption, challenge elections and defend people’s rights among others.
Mtambo said they will not stop defending rights of Malawians from few people who want to destroy the country since no one is above the law.
“HRDC will continue with its plan to conduct Anti-ansah demonstrations from Wednesday to Friday in the cities,” Mtambo emphasised
He further said the coalition is discussing with its lawyers to appeal High court’s injunction against shutdown of airports and Boarders.
