HRDC asks government to publicize report from Vice president to State president

Human Rights Defenders Coalition HRDC has asked the Tonse alliance government to make public the report which Vice president Dr Saulos Chilima has presented to President Dr Lazarus Chakwera at Kamuzu Palace in lILONGWE

Chakwera directed Chilima to present the recommendation report on allowances, procurement and employment contracts within 90 days

Speaking with radio islam, National Coordinator for HRDC Luke Tembo says the report is a public document hence the need to make public its contents for the sake of transparency.

“The Tonse alliance informed people that the Vice president will present the report and Malawians need to be told its contents,” Tembo

Efforts to speak to Presidential press Officer Brian Banda and Minister of Information Gospel Kazako proved futile as their phones could not be reached.
