Minister meets AQSA Dawah Group
Minister of health has called upon Muslims in the country to continue promoting unity.
Honorable Atupele Muluzi made the statement at Majuni primary school ground in Mangochi during a meeting with AQSA Dawah group.
“When there is unity, peace and love development takes its shape,” Muluzi said.
He encouraged Muslim parents in Tradition Authority Jalasi to send their children to both Islamic and secular studies in order to be good leaders and responsible citizens.
Muluzi donated 1 Million kwacha, ten bicycles and promised AQSA group a motor vehicle to reduce mobility challenges during Dawah activities.
Sheikh Ishmael Nkwanda of AQSA Dawah group said they had organised the gathering for the Muslims to interact.
“AQSA group is thankful to Muluzi for his participation and the assistance rendered to the group,” said sheikh Mkwanda.
He said the money donated will empower women to start new businesses to sustain their families.
