Government warns people establishing covid-19 vaccination centres

Ministry of health has warned people who are establishing covid-19 vaccination systems and centres that they will be dealt with

In a statement secretary for health Dr Charles Mwansambo has advised health facility managers and authorities that covid-19 vaccinations can only be distributed through approved system and centres

Dr Mwansambo has said this after allegations that some private individuals or section are introducing non approved distribution of the vaccines in a way that disadvantages certain groups.

“Distribution of the vaccines to the target groups is planned to be done in an equitable manner in line with distribution guidelines as approved by presidential taskforce on covid-19,” Dr Mwansambo

The secretary of health says introduction of the vaccines is an important additional measure in the control of covid-19 in the country
