Government Introduces Special Allowance for Civil Servants

Government has announced special allowances to all civil servants from 1^st October this year

According to secretary for human Resource Management and Development Chilabade civil servants in Grades C to R will be receiving the allowances ranging from 20 000 to 40,000 per month.

Chilabade said the special allowances shall be subject to periodic review alongside other allowances.

Speaking to Radio Islam Civil Servants Trade Union general secretary Madalitso Njolomole said civil servants are impressed with what government has done to them.
