Government has appointed boards of directors of 6 statutory corporations
They include boards of pharmacy and medicines regulatory authority, Malawi College of health sciences, Malawi blood transfusion services, central medical stores, medical council of Malawi and nurses and midwives council of Malawi
Chief secretary Justin Saidi says the new appointments are effective 4th December and advises the new directors to offer sound strategic guidance
Saidi says robust oversight will enable respective statutory corporations to fulfill their mandates effectively and improve delivery of public services in interest of people.
