Government Announces Eid-ul-fitr Holiday

Government has said Eid-ul-fitr holiday will be observed on Wednesday 5th June, 2019.

According to a press release signed by secretary to local government and rural development Charles Kalemba Muslim Association of Malawi has confirmed that the holy month of Ramadan ends on Tuesday 4th June, 2019.

The ministry is therefore wishing all Muslims in the country and the general public a happy Eid Ul Fitr public holiday.
