Germany based Islamic organizations to continue charity in Malawi.

Two Germany based Islamic organizations Africa Association and Asunya have promised to continue with charitable activities in Malawi.

Representative of the organizations Umtu Turan said this after distributing cows to three poor families in Blantyre and Balaka districts.

Turan said Muslims in Germany understand poverty level in Malawi hence deciding to distribute the cows so that they pass to one another after they give birth.

“When I go back to Germany I will ask for funds to establish more income generating activities aimed at uplifting lives of Muslim community in the country,” Turan said

The organizations have also slaughtered cattle and goats which were distributed to Muslims in the districts of Nsanje, Chikwawa, Blantyre, Balaka and Machinga.
