Final Hadeeth Competition begins in Morocco

Final phase of King Muhammad the sixth foundation for African Ulama international hadeeth competition has begun today in Morocco.

The competition is being held through zoom and from Malawi Sheikh Zaidu Abdulrashid Aboo Muhammad, Abdullah Mustafa and Haroon Ahmad are participating.

Today, Friday Adullah Mustafa is contesting in hadeeth 30 category.

Speaking, country representative of the foundation Sheikh Bakar Duncan has confirmed that all preparations are complete and the three contestants are currently in Blantyre.

In a separate interview Muslim Association of Malawi chairman Sheikh Idrisa Muhammad appreciated the foundation for initiating various competitions as a way of encouraging Muslim youth to preserve Islamic teachings.

In a phone call, Sheikh Muhammad wished the participants well, advising them to seek guidance from Allah during the competition.

He also extended his best wishes to King Muhammad the sixth of Morocco, expressing gratitude for his continued support of Islam.

Sheikh Zaidu AbdulRashid and Haroon Ahmad will compete tomorrow Saturday, with results anticipated on Sunday 20th of October 2024.

The competition follows closely after the Quran competition where Malawi was placed 20th and 38th.
