Epileptic patient commits suicide

A 21 year old epileptic patient has committed suicide by hanging himself under the roof of his house in Mangochi district.

According to Assistant public relations officer for Mangochi police sergeant Amina Tepani Daudi the deceased was Mustafa Rashid.

“Rashid was admitted at Mangochi district hospital and was discharged on 19th August,” said Daudi.

Postmortem conducted at the hospital revealed that death was due to suffocation.

Rashid Mustafa hailed from Mikochi village TA Makanjira in the district.
