DPP members urged to conduct issue based campaign

Democratic Progressive Party DPP has urged its members to conduct issue based campaign in preparation for 2025 general elections

This has been said as Malawi Congress Party condemned remarks by a DPP parliamentarian to attack its members

In its statement signed by secretary general Peter Mukhitho DPP urges its members to focus on constructive dialogue and practical solutions that address genuine concerns of Malawians

The party has advised its members to reject any form of violence, intimidation or provocation and not being swayed by actions of panga welding cadres

However they should champion values of peace and unity to reinforce Malawians trust in DPP as their best choice for the future

In the statement the main opposition party has also spoken about numerous challenges Malawians face such as manmade hunger and rising cost of living under leadership of Malawi congress party.
