Cyclone Freddy effects expected in Malawi

Department of climate change and meteorological services says cyclone Freddy is expected to land in Malawi on Friday this week.

The Department says cyclone Freddy which is currently classified as severe Tropical storm continues to intensify in Mozambique Channel.

Meteorologist Yobu Kachiwanda says there are higher chances that Freddy will return and make a second landfall over Mozambique by Friday.
