High Court judge Mzondi Mvula will deliver in future his ruling on the application for bail by secretary general of Malawi Congress Party Richard Chimwendo Banda who is answering the offence of attempting to murder Frank Chawanda
Judge Mvula has said this on Wednesday after hearing arguments from lawyers representing the state and Chimwendo Banda
He said will deliver the ruling through email after scrutinizing all arguments presented by the defence and the state
The defence lawyers asked the court to release Chimwendo Banda on bail because is Member of Parliament and is not feeling well
But the state through counsel Dzikondianthu Malunda pleaded with the court not to release Banda on bail because can jeorpadise state evidence
This means that Chimwendo Banda is still kept in police custody until the delivery of the ruling on his bail application
