Companies handover K18 million Nkhotakota hospital pharmacy
Five companies have handed over a pharmacy valued at 18 million kwacha which they rehabilitated at Nkhotakota district hospital after it caught fire last year
The companies are Illovo Sugar Company, Unitrans, Ethco, Gardaworld and Nkhanga essential support services
Speaking during the handover ceremony Illovo acting general manager Jeromy Ngolombe said they saw it important to renovate the pharmacy because the company puts the well being of people at heart
“We believe that the pharmacy will enable the hospital to provide essential care to Malawians,” Ngolombe
He promised to keep engaging with the hospital to help out in some challenges it faces
In his remarks acting district commissioner for Nkhotakota Ben Tonho said the companies have bailed people of Nkhotakota from the challenges they were facing because of the damaged pharmacy
