Chiponde Police Post Officer murdered

Chiponde police post officer in charge Superitendant Benjamin Nyirenda has been murdered in Mangochi.

National Police spokesperson Peter Kalaya has confirmed of the incident which happened when the deceased and his team went to bring peace between villagers and owners of chipunga farm in Mangochi district.

Kalaya says police is still conducting investigations to arrest all culprits.

Nyirenda hailed from the area of traditional authority Mwaulawo in Mzimba.
