Chairperson for Legal affairs committee of Parliament Peter Dimba has resigned.
Dimba who is also MCP Member of Parliament for Lilongwe South has resigned today.
In a letter directed to office of Speaker of National Assembly, Dimba says he feels has failed Malawians on the fight against corruption as a leader of the Committee.
According to Dimba their efforts to provide checks and balances to Executive particularly on the fight against corruption have proven futile and as a leader he takes full responsibility for failing Malawians in this regard.
This is coming hours after office of President and Cabinet suspended Martha Chizuma ACB Director General
