CDEDI asks President to tackle Crucial Issues in National Address
As the president addresses the nation this evening, Centre for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) has asked Lazarus Chakwera to tackle crucial issues affecting the public
In a statement, CDEDI executive director Sylvester Namiwa, says Chakwera should provide evidence to illustrate the country’s economic gains from the previous 25 percent devaluation of Kwacha before justifying the recent 44 percent devaluation.
Namiwa, says, the president should accept that the country’s ailing economy cannot sustain a 35-member Cabinet and 26 presidential advisers.
He firther says the President should stop blaming previous administration on the suffering of Malawians.
