Body of a person with albinism exhumed

Police in Lilongwe are investigating exhumation of the body of a person with albinism in a grave yard at Mthang’ombe Village, Traditional Authority Masumbankhunda.

On the material day, some women who entered the graveyard to fetch firewood and fruits came across a hoe smeared with fresh mud and later discovered that a grave in which the late Wilson Phiri was buried in, was tampered.

Meanwhile Office of Lilongwe District Commissioner has promised to provide necessary resources to secure other two graves from similar acts.
