Blantyre district health office to begin second phase of polio vaccination

Blantyre district health office will embark on the second phase of polio vaccination to under-five children next week

Director of Health and Social Service Dr Gift Kawalazira says the campaign will be held from 25^th to 28^th April

Dr Kawalazira says every child should receive four doses of the vaccine in the campaign which began last month

“Other doses will be administered in June and July this year through door to door and in hospitals,” Dr Kawalazira

Dr Kawalazira has urged leaders and parents take children to polio vaccination centres and commended stakeholders for the successful awareness campaign
