Office of vice president has announced an extension of the vice president’s private trip to the United Kingdom until 16 January 2026.
According to a communication signed by the office’s communications and public relations officer Richard Mveriwa the extension is due to unforeseen circumstances and outstanding matters that Jane Ansah needs to attend to.
Jane Ansah who left the country on 26th December 2025 was initially expected to return on 10th January 2026.
Mveriwa has assured the public that the vice president is safe and in good condition.
The extension comes at a time when various sections of society have expressed reservations over the vice president’s trip.
