Lucius Banda promises to develop Balaka north
United Democratic Front aspiring Member of Parliament for Balaka North, Lucious Banda, says he is committed to continue with developmental projects he initiated in the area.
Speaking to Radio Islam after a whistle stop tour conducted in Traditional Authority Kalembo, Banda said he has lined up several projects will establish systems that will help his constituents’ access to clean, mobile clinics and job creation for the youth among others.
He said as bonafide child of the area he understands the situation people in area are going through.
In a related development, former Member of Parliament for Mangochi Malombe, Romeo Bwanali, has asked people in the area to vote for him for the area to continue enjoying development programmes he initiated.
Bwanali made the call after visiting a construction site of Malombe Martenity clinic in area of Traditional Authority Chowe in Mangochi.
Bwanali said once voted back into parliament, he will intensify the green belt programme as one way of making sure of food security.
