PAC commends Malawian youth for resisting from violence

As the countdown to the May 20 tripartite elections continues, the Public Affairs Committee PAC has commended youths in the central region for resisting being used as perpetrators of violence during this campaign period.

PAC chairperson for the Central Region, Reverend Kuthyola Mwale, said this during a training for youths in Dowa.

Rev. Mwale said during this period there has never been any reported case of violence in the central region.

Mwale has meanwhile urged the youths to refrain from being used as violence perpetrators.

Agness Maunde a participant at the two day training had this to say.

PAC is expected to train youths from all the regions on conflict resolution, peace building and early warning with the financial support from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
