Muslim Association of Malawi sends condolence message to Turkey

Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) has sent a condolence message to government and people of Turkey following tragic earthquakes that hit the country.

In a letter signed by MAM National Chairman, Sheikh Idrissa Muhammad expressed the deepest sympathy to president and people of Turkey over the loss of lives and large scale damages.

Sheikh Muhammad said Muslim community in Malawi is deeply concerned with the tragedy and expressed confidence that the strength and resilience of the Turkish will carry them through the calamity.

“Remember that the chairman of Muslim Association Malawi Sheikh Idrissa Muhammad was in Turkey two weeks ago where he met various organizations and government to help in the development of Malawi,”  Sheikh Dinala Chabulika the MAM publicist

Over 9000 people have been by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
