World Bank approves K76 billion for Governance Project

World Bank has approved 76 billion kwacha to the Malawi government towards implementation of the Governance to Enable Service Delivery Project GESP.

In an interview with Radio Islam Ministry of Finance Spokesperson, Williams Banda, said “the project seeks to provide capacity building to councils in areas of finance management, development planning among others.”

Banda said the 5 year project has been approved after it met conditions for effectiveness of the financing agreement.
