UDF promises to start delivering its manifesto within 100 days
United Democratic Front (UDF) president, Atupele Muluzi, says the UDF administration will put necessary measures in making sure that the economic challenges Malawians facing are contained within the hundred days of its leadership.
Muluzi was speaking during a press briefing held in at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre.
Muluzi said among others he will implement credible budget with succinct and ruthless focus on results.
He said UDF government will establish a permanent national economic planning commission to oversee coherence policy planning and implementation.
In his statement Muluzi said that he will insure that all the stolen money through cashgate is returned to the state coffers.
Commenting on the released opinion polls, Muluzi said he is not carried by the reports and is optimistic that Malawians will vote for UDF in the next week’s tripartite elections.
