TUM threatens to resume stay away strike if government fails to fulfill agreement
Teachers Union of Malawi TUM has threatened resumption of a stay away strike if government does not fulfill their agreement today.
TUM president Willy Malimba in an interview with radio Islam said two weeks have elapsed since the day the agreement was made but nothing tangible has come up.
“The union is surprised to see government’s reluctance on the matter though an agreement was signed,” Malimba
On 8th March this year government agreed to give the teachers money meant for procurement of personal protective equipment
