Truck drivers hold strike in Malawi

Truck drivers in the country have started holding a strike Wednesday morning

Secretary of Professional Drivers Union of Malawi Mphatso Mollen says their bosses are not paying their allowances and salaries which they agreed with government.

Mollen also says the truck drivers are also facing numerous challenges when trying to access their licences

In Blantyre, the drivers have converged at Ngumbe along M1 where they are blocking the trucks
