Tonse government appeals for time to fulfill promises

State house has asked Malawians to give Tonse government time to fulfill its promises

This follows complaints by people including Tonse Alliance supporters that government is not fulfilling the promises made during campaign

Press secretary Brian Banda addressing the press at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe said people should not pressure the president as he has been in power for only 169 days

“Government will fulfill its promises and bring change to the nation,” Banda

Meanwhile, the president has gone to the northern region where he will launch the project of constructing houses for Malawi defence force in Mzuzu and launch national tree planting season in Nkhatabay
