Small Scale Business people against influx of refugees’ traders

Small scale business operators in Malawi have cried foul over influx of refugees plying small businesses

Speaking to journalists in Blantyre the small scale business operators’ association members from various areas have asked government to address the challenge of refugees conducting business in undesignated areas across Malawi adding it is unconstitutional

In a statement the small scale business operators in Malawi say government should repatriate all refugees who are in town and districts because they are disturbing small scale businesses of citizens

The association alleges that there are some government officials benefiting from refugees who conduct small businesses hence the delay to repatriate them
