Second Deputy Speaker Distributes Bicycles to Sheikhs, Businesspersons

Second deputy speaker of parliament Aisha Mambo Adams has handed over 43 bicycles to small scale business operators and faith leaders in the area of Traditional Authority Chimwala, Mangochi

Speaking during the distribution ceremony Adams who is also Member of Parliament for Mangochi Mkungulu said the bicycles will help the beneficiaries to generate income and ease transportation challenges when spreading the word of GOD

She thanked Malawi Relief Fund UK for the donation and urged it to continue supporting people in rural areas

Adams advised the recipients to take care of the bicycles and use them properly

In her remarks administrator of Malawi Relief Fund UK Aisha Missi said they thought it necessary to distribute bicycles as one way of empowering people in villages
