Renowned Muslim Scholar Sheikh Ahmad Mwanyali has died

Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) has described the death of Sheikh Ahmad Mwanyali as a great loss to Muslim community.

MAM made this remarks following the demise of late Sheikh Mwanyali who until his death was the district secretary for MAM for Mangochi.

Speaking to Radio Islam, Publicity Secretary for MAM, Sheikh Dinala Chabulika, said late Sheikh Mwanyali was one of the sheikhs in the country who was gifted with charisma in preaching.

“As the district secretary MAM will remember him as a committed sheikh who executed his duties without looking at what he was going to benefit,” Sheikh Chabulika

He however called on all Muslims in the country to pray for him for Allah to forgive his short comings.

Sheikh Mwanyali has died in the wee hours of Friday after a short illness.
