Polio vaccine fourth phase starts

Fourth phase of polio vaccine starts today 13^th October to 16^th October targeting under five children

The four day exercise comes after the country recorded three new cases in Mulanje, Phalombe and Mwanza districts last week.

Speaking during a press briefing chief preventive health officer at Blantyre district health office Penjani Chunda said they have targeted to reach two hundred thirty one thousand and sixty eight (231 068) children

Chunda said the exercise will done in all government health facilities, selected special sites like markets as well as door to door.
